Maria Gordon was born in the USSR and fled as a political refugee in the 80’s. She is Russian by birth, Ukrainian by marriage and American by choice. Maria is a writer and veteran geopolitical journalist having reported on Russian politics for decades. She aims to use her working knowledge of languages and culture as a tool to help people in this time of need.

Anna Gordon

Vice President—Communications

Anna Gordon was born in Moscow in the former Soviet Union and came to New York as a political refugee with her parents in 1989. She grew up with a foot in both cultures and has a deep curiosity for her Ukrainian, Russian, and Jewish heritage. She works as a content producer and aims to produce content that is meaningful and helps to bridge cultural divides.

Oleh Pravda

Secretary—Fundraising

Oleh Pravda was born and raised in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Like many other young immigrants, Oleh came to America in hope of achieving his boldest dreams, and discovered that his ultimate dream - is that of a prosperous, peaceful Ukraine. He now splits his time equally between his scholarly pursuits, work, and helping the ongoing war & peace effort in Ukraine.

Lilia Vinogradova

Co-Chair, International

Lilia Vinogradova is a well-known Russian poet and songwriter, a Muscovite that has made her home in two countries—Russia and Italy since 1989. A true citizen of the world, Lilia writes in Russian, Italian and French. She is friends with Ukrainian musicians and artists, with whom she collaborates a lot, participating in international projects.
